Menold Bezler advises ARE Beteiligungen on expansion outside Europe
Menold Bezler has advised the ARE Group from Hanau on the acquisition of Roediger Vacuum GmbH, also based in Hanau, and its U.S. sister company Airvac Inc., headquartered in Rochester. The acquisition, structured as a share deal, was carried out through the newly established subsidiary Airvac Roediger Vacuum GmbH of ARE Beteiligungen GmbH.
Roediger Vacuum and Airvac Inc. specialize in the collection and transport of wastewater as well as innovative solutions for modern supply and disposal systems. Both companies will continue to operate under their existing management teams.
ARE Beteiligungen primarily invests in companies that are positioned in niche markets and offer services in the construction-related sector. Its goal is to create long-term value while preserving the identity of the acquired businesses.
Menold Bezler advised ARE Beteiligungen on all legal aspects of the transaction in cooperation with the U.S. law firm Frost Brown Todd. The team led by Vladimir Cutura has already supported ARE Beteiligungen in three other acquisitions since the beginning of the year.
