Menold Bezler advises LogBATT on investment in Lagermax

Menold Bezler has advised the shareholders and founders of LogBATT GmbH, based in Plochingen, on the acquisition of a majority stake in LogBATT GmbH by the Salzburg-based Lagermax Group.

Founded in 2017 by Philipp Helmle and Eduard Schönmeier, LogBATT develops logistics solutions for lithium-ion batteries, particularly in the automotive industry, and now employs around 35 people. The two founders continue to hold shares in the company and remain active in the management.

The owner-managed family business Lagermax is a provider of transport solutions. With over 60 locations in 14 European countries and around 3,800 employees, the group is one of Austria's largest forwarding, car transport and logistics companies.

Menold Bezler advised the shareholders of LogBATT on the legal and tax aspects of the transaction.
