Renowned Antitrust Partner Joins Menold Bezler

As of September 1, 2025, Dr. Martin Beutelmann, LL.M. joins Menold Bezler as Equity Partner, together with Hendrik Howaldt as Counsel, strengthening the firm’s antitrust practice. Both previously worked for many years at BRP Renaud and Gleiss Lutz in Stuttgart.

Martin Beutelmann brings nearly 20 years of experience in German and EU antitrust law. He advises medium-sized and large, national and international companies in particular on cooperation agreements, merger control, compliance measures, cartel proceedings, and antitrust damages claims, as well as on foreign trade investment control. Another focus of his practice lies in distribution law, such as designing selective distribution systems or drafting commercial agency agreements. He is joined by Hendrik Howaldt, whose particular expertise lies in antitrust damages and internal investigations.
