Menold Bezler partner Sebastian Mielke appointed preliminary insolvency administrator over the assets of topex GmbH

topex GmbH, a system supplier of complex labeling solutions based in Erkenbrechtsweiler (Esslingen district), filed for insolvency on 17 February 2026.

On 18 February 2026, the Local Court of Esslingen appointed Dr. Sebastian Mielke, partner at Menold Bezler, as preliminary insolvency administrator over the company’s assets. Dr. Mielke informed the workforce about the current situation on 19 February.

Business operations of topex GmbH are continuing without restriction. Wages for the approximately 50 employees are secured through the end of April 2026. The restructuring path already initiated will now be continued within the insolvency proceedings.

“As a specialist in printing and labeling systems, topex meets all the technical requirements to succeed in the market. Its products are high-quality and innovative. We will intensify our efforts to find an investor for the company,” said Sebastian Mielke.
