Dr Sebastian Mielke appointed preliminary insolvency administrator of Karl Mayer Kartonagenfabrik

The Local Court of Tübingen has appointed Dr Sebastian Mielke as preliminary insolvency administrator in the insolvency proceedings concerning Karl Mayer Kartonagenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Haiterbach.

The company, represented by its general partner Mayer Verwaltungs-GmbH, filed for the opening of insolvency proceedings over its assets on 29 July 2026.

Karl Mayer Kartonagenfabrik manufactures customised corrugated cardboard solutions for commercial and industrial customers.

“Following the challenging years of 2024 and 2025, the company was well on its way towards a turnaround. It now intends to continue this restructuring process within the framework of insolvency proceedings,” said Dr Sebastian Mielke on the day of his appointment.

Business operations are continuing without restriction. The wages and salaries of the approximately 110 employees are secured by insolvency payments from July through September 2026. An investor process initiated prior to the insolvency filing will be continued.

The proceedings are being handled jointly by Dr Sebastian Mielke and Melanie Niksic.
