Papyrus GmbH, part of the Swedish OptiGroup AB, has sold a logistics real estate portfolio to a property company of the US financial investor Blackstone. The portfolio includes two logistics properties in the greater Munich area and Frankfurt am Main with a total rental area of around 28,000 square meters.
As part of the transaction, the properties were separated from the seller’s existing real estate leasing structures. In order to secure the sale at an early stage, complex contractual arrangements – comparable to a forward deal – were necessary. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
