Intellectual Property, Copyright, Competition, and Media Law
Intellectual Property
We support our clients in acquiring and utilizing protected intellectual property rights domestically and internationally, particularly in the area of trademark and design law, from the initial application procedures to licensing agreements. We also aid our clients in asserting and defending protected rights to the fullest extent.
Copyright Law
In copyright law, we design and negotiate licensing agreements to help our clients make economic use of their own or others’ works. And we advise our clients on how to proceed in cases of possible infringements.
Competition Law
We advise our clients in and out of court in the areas of competition law, particularly as concerns the law of unfair competition. We review individual forms of advertising or marketing concepts in their preliminary stages for permissibility under provisions of law, and guard the rights of companies in relation to objections raised by third parties.
Media Law
In the area of media law, our emphasis is on supporting our clients in raising claims against tortious statements or in defending against such claims.
